Vice-President Kari Nichols, PE   Mead & Hunt  Email    Kari has 19 years of experience in civil and environmental engineering design including hydrologic and hydraulic computations, stormwater drainage designs, flood risk reduction, natural channel design, grading and site improvements and construction management. She is familiar with state and federal codes and regulations pertaining to water resources protection. Kari keeps current with the municipal industry through her involvement in various professional organizations. She is an experienced project manager who enjoys leading multidisciplinary teams for various infrastructure improvement projects.

Her experience spans a variety projects from the reach to watershed level scale. She earned a masters degree in Water Resources Engineering and an undergraduate degree in Ecological Engineering, both from Oregon State University.

Her experience spans a variety projects from the reach to watershed level scale. She earned a masters degree in Water Resources Engineering and an undergraduate degree in Ecological Engineering, both from Oregon State University.

His past experience has primarily focused on providing stormwater attenuation and treatment for transportation improvement projects. His recent work has also included permitting and design for stream enhancement projects including bank stabilization, flood control and stream simulation design for culvert replacements. His involvement in a variety of complex projects provides critical perspective on the planning, permitting, design, construction and maintenance needs of public infrastructure.
