Maddie Heidari, PhD, PE
Tahereh Maddie Heidari received her bachelor and master’s degrees from the Iran University of Science and Technology in 2000 and 2004, respectively. After receiving her bachelor’s degree, Maddie joined an engineering consultant where she worked on several national projects such as Siahbishe CFRD Dams and Kouhrang Hydropower Plant. After working in industry for 5 years, Maddie joined graduate program of the Clemson University. Her research focused on characterizing liquefaction potential of Pleistocene deposits in the probabilistic framework through in situ geotechnical testing, geological investigation, and statistical data analysis. Maddie received her Ph.D. in 2010. Since then, Maddie has worked as a geotechnical engineer on a broad range of geotechnical and civil engineering projects including hydropower, earth dams, levees, water/wastewater infrastructures, pipelines, and mining projects.
