Responsibilities: This key position will work with an elite team of technical staff in applied research, product evaluation, structural engineering, building envelope design, and building code and product standard development on engineered wood products, such as wood structural panels, prefabricated wood I-joists, structural composite lumber, and structural glued laminated timber. Substantial opportunities exist for professional growth through regular contact with the forest products industry, the engineering community, and other research organizations around the world. Qualifications: • M.S. or higher degree in structural engineering, wood science, or related field • Two or more years of industry experience on engineered wood products and/or timber engineering • Demonstrated positive work ethic and goal-driven attitude • E.I.T. or P.E. registration is desirable The Company: APA-The Engineered Wood Association is the premier industry trade association representing the majority of North American producers of engineered wood products.
