On November 7th, ASCE Oregon hosted over 100 citizens in the Ashland area for a showing of the OPB/Oregon Field Guide Unprepared documentary about Oregon’s readiness for a M9.0 Cascadia Subduction Zone seismic event. Local engineering and emergency management leaders volunteered their evening to participate in our Q&A panel of experts as well as providing informational materials to the attendees. Emergency readiness raffle prizes were given out after the robust hour-long Q&A session. Attendees were very appreciative of the documentary viewing and the informational discussion provided.
